Antonio Mejia November 27, 1930 - January 26, 2011 Antonio "Tony" Mejia of Waco passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, at St. Francis on the Brazos Church with the Rev. Gonzalo Ferrer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. and Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Thursday, January 27, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Tony was born November 27, 1930 in Waco, Texas to Jesus and Manuela Mejia. He worked at Southwestern Bell for 30 years. He served in the National Guard for five years and proudly served two years in the Army. Tony was a member of St. Francis on the Brazos Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Jesse "Chuy" Mejia and Pete Mejia. He is survived by his wife, Carlota Mejia; his children, Valentina Alicia Cueto and husband, John; Mario Antonio Mejia and wife, Thu; and Christina Maria Mejia; grandchildren, Delilah Cueto, Autumn, Zander and Summer Mejia; sisters, Juanita Rangel, Mattie Mejia, Jo Dean and husband, Larry; brothers, Mickey Mejia and Frank Mejia; and several nieces and nephews.
