GALINDO,SR., APOLINAR Apolinar Galindo, Sr., age 76, of Waco died September 4, 2001 in a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 7th at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Lawrence Soler officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM Thursday, September 6th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Galindo was born July 23, 1925 in Clifton. He was reared and educated in Miles and Rowena. He was a veteran in the U. S. Army during World War II. He married Rosa Villanueva in 1949. She preceded him in death July 7, 1997. He was also preceded in death by a son, Apolinar Galindo, Jr. He was employed at the V. A. Hospital in Waco until his retirement. Mr. Galindo was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus. Survivors include: Daughters: Paula Ann Casarez and husband, Pete Rosie Marie Gonzales and husband, Tony Teresa Lee Lopez and husband, Frank Regina Lynn Dickerson and husband, Jerry Son: Apolinar Paul Galindo, Jr. and wife, Hilda all of Waco Sisters: Pauline Hedden of Anderson, SC Fannie Galindo of San Antonio 12 grandchildren Ten great-grandchildren Pallbearers will be Pete Casares, Antonio Tony Gonzales, Frank Lopez, Jerry Dickerson, Johnny Gonzales and Gilbert Hernandez. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart C. C. D. Center Building Fund. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
