Archie John Price

Archie John Price of Waco passed away Saturday, December 22, 2007. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Lester Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 25, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Mr. Price was born February 17, 1927, in Smithfield, WV to James Daniel and Myrtle Price. He was a former native of West Virginia and has made Bosqueville his home for the last 26 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran, a member of the Teamsters Union Local 0745, and was a retired professional truck driver for the past 60 years. Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters, all of West Virginia. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anna Jane Price; seven children, Terrell Price; Lisa and Clyde Taylor; Carman and Michael Doan of Waco; William Bill and Fran Price of Bellmead; Joyce Pink Statler and David of Elm Mott; Roanna Price and Bernie of Ocala, Florida; Barbara and John Oliverio; and six sisters of West Virginia. Mr. Price has 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, all of whom he liked to spend time with. Pallbearers are to be his grandsons.
