Arden T. Clinger May 19, 1915 - January 31, 2010 Arden T. Clinger, 94, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at his daughter's residence. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Dr. Steven Mansen officiating. Arden was born May 19, 1915 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Foster and Beryl S. Von Blon Clinger. He was an amateur "ham" radio operator for over 80 years. While in Lake Charles he completed his career with PPG Industries as an electrical engineer. After retiring, he and Inis spent many happy years traveling in their RV's. He was a member of University United Methodist Church in Lake Charles, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Inis Clinger; and one son, Wesley Mitchell Clinger. He is survived by his daughter, Annice McCullough and husband, Glenn, of Waelder, TX, and his son, James Clinger of Lake Charles; two grandsons, Lance Alan McCullough and Lonnie Arden McCullough and wife, Tracy; and one great-granddughter, Chloe Arden McCullough, all of Houston. Also surviving is his half-brother, Robert Clinger and wife, Lori, of Boynton Beach, FL.
