MAYBERRY, ARNOLD Arnold Wayne Mayberry, age 79, of West died Wednesday, August 8, 2001 at a Dallas hospital. Services will be 1:30PM Friday, August 10th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd.with Rev. Darrell Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Thursday, August 9th at the funeral home. Mr. Mayberry was born February 14, 1922 to Ralph and Olga Parmelle Mayberry in Waco. He married Christine Reimer March 7, 1942 in Waco. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Outdoor Amusement Business Association, Lone Star Showman’s Club, Showman’s League of America, VFW, and Meadowbrook Baptist Church. Survivors include: Wife: Christine Mayberry of West Daughters: Waynette Porter and husband, Frank of Elm Mott Susan Lynch of West Son: Gary Wayne Mayberry of Elm Mott Sisters-in-law: Edna Giles and husband, Frank of Houston Jo Ann Williams and husband, Harlan of Waco Aunt: Gena Webb of Atlanta, GA Grandchildren: Martin and Tony Porter, Christy Barton, Gary, Jr. Shane, Justin, Wayne, and Waylon Mayberry, Jamie Tubbs, and Tony Lynch. Great grandchildren: Brittany, Christopher, Candus, Cassandra, Martin, Casey, Cory, Chance, Kayla, and Garrett Great great granddaughter: Cheyenne Pallbearers will be Martin and Tony Porter, Gary, Jr., Shane, Justin, and Lil’ Wayne Mayberry, Tony Lynch, Douglas Barton and Jamie Tubbs and honorary pallbearer, Waylon Mayberry.
