Arthur Donald A. D. Lee February 19, 1923 January 10, 2008 Arthur Donald Lee passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Providence Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 14, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home, Waco, Texas. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery, Waco, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 8 p.m. Sunday, January 13, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home. A. D. Lee was born February 19, 1923 in Halls County, Nebraska to Lawrence and Maude Lee. A. D. was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and was employed at Southwestern Bell for 44 years, retiring in 1985. He was a long time member of Highland Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. A. D. was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leonard Lee and sister Grace Ruple. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Imogene Lane Lee, six sons; Wayne and Sharon Lee of Lorena, John and Tommie Lee of San Antonio, Jay and Marla Lee of Wichita Falls, Dan and Diane Lee of Cypress, Burney and Kathy Lee of League City and Sam and Mandi Lee of Wilmington, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and his sister, Midge and husband, George Lori, Anchorage, Alaska. Pallbearers will be his six sons. Memorials can be made to Highland Baptist Church, Waco, TX or to the charity of your choice.
