Arthur Schaffer August 28, 1925 - March 12, 2011 Arthur Schaffer of Waco passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Regent Care Center. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Su Milam officiating. Arthur was born August 28, 1925, in Galveston, Texas, to Henry and Frances Schaffer. He worked for American Amicable Life Insurance Company for over 60 years. He was also a Baylor graduate and a World War II Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Billie Schaffer; and three brothers, Henry, Herman and Stanley Schaffer. He is survived by one daughter, Dawn Murray and husband, Steve, of Woodway; one son, Steve Schaffer of Hewitt, TX; three grandchildren, Carrie and Cameron Blain and Chloe Murray; two sisters, Louise Green and husband, Charles of Grandbury, TX; and Mindy Gorrono of Dallas, TX.
