Asa Nelson Williams, Jr. October 8, 1932 – January 3, 2006 Asa Williams, Jr. passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2006. Memorial services will be at 11:30 am Saturday, January 7, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel. Burial will follow at Lorena Cemetery at 2:30 pm with Masonic Honors. Asa was born October 8, 1932 in Waco to Asa Sr. and Lillie Mae Williams. He retired after 41 years at Texas Power and Light TXU. During his lifetime he was very proud to be a member of Lone Star Masonic Lodge No. 403 in Denison, TX, the Solomon Masonic Lodge No. 484 in Taylor, TX and also a member of the Vashti Chapter No. 32 of the Eastern Star in Temple, TX. He is survived by his devoted wife JoAnn Dixon Williams, son Gary Nelson Williams and wife Tammy, daughter Susie Williams Dusenberry and husband Lew, daughter Joyce Williams Wilcher, and son Joe Wayne Williams and wife Carrie; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
