The oldest daughter in the family with six brothers and two sisters. She graduated from Lorena High School in June 1934. Audra married Glenn Morris on Sept. 18, 1936. She attended 4C Business College and while going to school began her retail career at the S.H. Kress Co. on Austin Avenue. She then worked for F.W. She owned and operated Glenn's Grocery on the Old Mexia Road until 1956, when she established Auzell's Fashion Fabrics, located first on Circle Road, then Southgate Center, then at its home location on Washington Avenue. Audra loved beautiful fabrics and enjoyed helping women look their best. She had the joy of working with the Waco Cotton Palace Pageant for 25 years, Baylor University's Theater Department and Home Economics Department; and with many brides and bridal parties, proms, rodeo queens, charity events and Quinceaneras. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glenn; brothers, Frank, Charlie, Jessie, Melvin, Herman and Ernest. She is survived by her daughter, Mozelle Jeffrey of Terlingua, TX; and granddaughter, Michelle Renick of West Bloomfield, Michigan. Also surviving are her two sisters, Edna Hutto of Richardson and Ara Sanders of Waco; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial to the charity of your choice. The family wants to acknowledge and thank the staff and the many close friends at the Providence Park Village who made Audra's last years a time of joy. They also want to acknowledge the special care and help received from Providence Hospice. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our "Memorial Guestbook" at www.wilkirsonhatchbailey.com.
