Audrey Emmet May 1, 1932 - April 21, 2015 Audrey Emmet of Woodway passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, at St. Jerome Catholic Church with the Father Rakshaganathan Selvaraj as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary will be 6:00 p.m., with visitation to follow on Friday, April 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Audrey was born May 1, 1932, in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Baylor University where she was a member of the Newman Club. Audrey raised four children and taught at St. Louis Elementary School and Reicher Catholic High School for thirty-five years. After retiring, she volunteered at Providence Hospital often working at the information desk. Her hobbies included rug hooking, book club and traveling the world with her children. Audrey was a beloved mother and grandmother and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Woodway. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie and Jesse Bynum. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Evans and husband, Raymond, of Red Oak, Texas; sons, Steven Michael Emmet of North Richland Hills, Texas, Sean Richard Emmet of Dallas, Texas and Robert Emmet of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Christine Emmet and Andrew Joseph Emmet;cousin, Frances Marie LeMond; and the thousands of students she taught who she considered her 'kids'. Pallbearers are Michael Emmet, Sean Richard Emmet, Robert Emmet, Raymond Evans, Mark Nagel and Andrew Emmet.
