Audrey Virgie Bryant September 29, 1914 - April 1, 2009 Audrey Virgie Bryant of Waco passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Ridgecrest Retirement Center. Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Monday, April 6, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, April 5, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Audrey was born September 29, 1914, in Reagan, Texas to John I. and Maudie Foley Brady. She attended school in Falls County. On January 16, 1936, she and Elbert Frank Bryant were married. They moved to Waco in 1941. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Dollie L. Bryant Mitchell; and eight siblings. She is survived by a son-in-law, Joe H. Mitchell and wife, Fran, of Warner Robins, GA; grandsons, John C. Mitchell and wife, Angela, of Warner Robins, and Randy A. Mitchell and wife, Misty, of Atlanta; great grandsons, John Jr., and Zane, of Warner Robins; great granddaughters, Kristalyn DeMoe, Karrissa DeMoe, and Kimberly Mitchell, all of Adairsville, GA; and niece, Clara Jo Palmer of Waco, and other relatives.
