B. Frank Dooley Sept. 28, 1913 – Feb. 16, 2006 B. Frank Dooley of Robinson, Texas passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006. Services will be at 1:30 PM, Monday, February 20, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque, Waco, with the Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, February 19th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21 at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home, 730 Clarksville St. Frank was born September 28, 1913 in Ector, Texas to James Monroe and Della McNiel Dooley. He was a Master Driver for Trailways Bus Lines for 29 years before retiring in 1962. He then managed part of the family ranch in Sterling, TX until 1990. Frank was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Wesleyan Workers Sunday School class of Waco. Before moving to Robinson in 1994, he was very active in First United Methodist Church of Paris, TX, The Builders Sunday School class and the Methodist Men of the First United Methodist Church of Paris, Texas. He also served on the Administrative Board, Trustee, Finance and Pastor-Parish Relations Committees. At the time of his death, he had been a member of the Masonic Lodge, Post 27 in Paris for over 50 years and a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans having served in the Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Thelma Crittenden Dooley, second wife, Sally Hull Fox, niece Helen Pate and nephew Carroll Dooley. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Dooley; nephews, B. J. Dooley of Mesquite, TX and James Burnett of Yelm, Washington; nieces, Dessa Lee Storey of Denver, CO, and Andrea Williams of Nevada, several great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers are Kenneth Sandel, Gary Bryant, Lonnie Lowry, Lester Bryant, Bill Dooley, Andy Lowry, Chris Lowry and Steve Lowry. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Lowry and the members of the Wesleyan Workers Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church and the Wesleyan Sunday School Class of Waco.
