Barbara Ann Britain Flesher September 16, 1951 November 2, 2010 Barbara Ann Britain Flesher, 59, was a beloved wife and wonderful mother. She went home to the Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. A memorial service celebrating her special life was held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6, at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Barbara was born on September 16, 1951, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and grew up in Waco. She graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in education. Following graduation she married her husband of 31 years, Richard Flesher, and then they moved to Dallas. Barbara was a dedicated mother and loving wife. She will be most remembered for her love for Jesus Christ. Barbara enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Barbara was loved by all who knew her and she will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband; and her parents, Tommy and Jack Britain. She is survived by her two sons, Matthew with his wife, Lindsey, and Scott with his wife, Shannon; three brothers, Donald of Waco, and Richard and Mark Britain, both of Dallas. She is also survived by her grandson, Layton.
