HICKS, BARBARA ANN Barbara Ann Hicks, age 71 of Waco died Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10am Friday, August 22 at Oakwood Cemetery with Chaplain Richard Rust officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Thursday, August 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Hicks was born March 22, 1932 in Waco. She graduated from high school in Austin. She married Frank Hicks September 1, 1951. He preceded her in death January 26, 1987. She was a homemaker and loving mother, wife and friend. She was also active in Camp Fire Girls as a leader for many years. Survivors include daughters, Charlotte Hicks, Sharon Hicks, and Cleo Cagle and husband, David all of Waco; son, Mark Hicks and wife, Tami of Houston; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Patsy Engelhardt of Australia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
