Barbara Bing-Burns June 12, 1937 - May 20, 2013 Barbara Bing-Burns of Woodway passed away Monday, May 20, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and a Memorial service will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Su Milam officiating. Barbara was born June 12, 1937, in Schnectady, New York to Stanley and Caroline Weeks. She graduated from Green Mountain Junior College, Poultney, Vermont. She worked at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Schnectady. Barbara lived in Huron, Ohio where she was a member of the Junior Women's League and also lived in Wisconsin and Iowa before moving to Waco in 1980. Barbara was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco and the Odell Dudley Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bill Bing. She married Ronald Burns in March of 2001. She is survived by her husband, Ron Burns; daughter, Rebecca Bing, Waco; sons, William Arthur Bing, and wife, Teresa, of Farley, MO, Micah Stanley Bing and wife, Laura, and Benjamin Stewart Bing, both of Waco; step-daughter, Melissa Burns; grandchildren: Richard Wagner, Amanda Olander, and husband, Aaron, Jeannett Bradley and husband, Josh, Madison Bing, Erin Albach and husband, Jared, Lauren Bing, Tiffany Leigh McNamara, and husband, Jonathan, Joshua Stanley Bing, and Benjamin Manuel Bing; and great grandchildren, Aiden, Aaron, Aerial, Olander and Abby Leigh Albach. Honorary pallbearers are The Odell Dudley Sunday School Class. The family wishes to thank April Bell, Krystal Price and Jennifer Tanner of Bluebonnet Hospice for the love and care for Barbara.
