GERBERT, BARBARA GRIFFIS Barbara Griffis Gerbert, 65 of Waco, died Thursday, August 26, 2004 at a Temple hospital. A memorial service will be held at 10am Saturday, August 28 at Lake Shore United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pamela Dykehouse officiating. Mrs. Gerbert was born August 5, 1939 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She lived most of her life in the Waco area. She was a loving mother and a friend to everyone she met. She lived her life to the fullest enjoying everything as much as she could. She was preceded in death by a daughter Tarrin Sullivan. Survivors include husband, Joe “Buddy” Gerbert; daughters, Liane Mathews and Karrie Spigener; son, Darrin Sullivan; grandchildren, Beau Mathews, Bubba Mathews, Clint Mathews, Lairen Halmark, Megan Bialas, and Kimberly Sullivan; great granddaughter, Mckenzie Hallmark; and brothers, Dickie Dobbs and John D.
