August 17, 1910 — March 14, 2002

TALLEY, BEA Bea Talley, age 91, of Waco, died Thursday, March 14, 2002 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, March 16 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Michael O. Patterson and Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00PM Friday, March 15 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Talley was born August 17, 1910 in Coleman, Texas to A. H. and Fannie Drummond. She was a longtime resident of Waco. She married Joe T. Talley January 26, 1929, he preceded her in death May 2, 1988. They owned and operated the original Vogue Cleaners in Waco until it was destroyed by fire in 1957. She started her career as a telephone operator as a teenager. Mrs. Talley was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church, where she was active in the Faith Sunday School Class. She remained active in numerous activities until her recent hospitalization. Survivors include sons, B. J. Talley and wife, Iris of Waco and Thomas Talley and wife, Louise of Arlington; grandchildren, Rick Talley and wife, Susan of Hewitt, Cindy George and husband, Glenn of Austin, Laurie Rendon of Waco, Beth Crymes and husband, Don of Arlington, and Jill Plotkowski and husband, Mike of Arlington; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Talley, Don Crymes, Mike Plotkowski, Glenn George, Boyd Williams, Chris Talley, and Buddy Edwards. Memorials may be made to Faith Class Memorial Fund at Western Heights Baptist Church. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
