Beatrice Villanueva of Waco passed away Saturday, January 6, 2007. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. Sergio Lopez as celebrant. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Mrs. Villanueva was born July 22, 1929 in Calvert, TX to Jose Mansolo and Carmen Bernal Mansolo. She worked at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center. She was a member of the St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church in Waco. She was also a member of the Guadalupana Society. Mrs. Villanueva was a very loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a dear friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Villanueva is survived by her mother, Dona Carmen Mansolo Bernal; daughters Dolores Martinez and husband Juan, Linda Villanueva, Trinidad Horton and husband Lester, Beatrice DeLeon, and Christine Lebron; sons Michael Villanueva, Tony Villanueva Jr., and Joe Luis Villanueva and wife Dixie; sisters Candelia Hernandez, Hope Garcia, Margaret Rivera, Isabell DeLaTorre and husband David, Carmen Cruz, Esther Salinas and husband Adolph, and Rachel Mansolo; brothers Ralph Mansolo and wife Esther, Joe Mansolo Jr. and wife Candy, John Mansolo and wife Gloria, and Tony Mansolo and wife Alice; fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Villanueva Sr., daughter Maria Villanueva, son Guadalupe Villanueva, father Jose Mansolo Sr. and grandson Spc-4 Javier A. Villanueva, who died while serving his country in Iraq.
