Rebecca "Becky" Cook November 16, 1967 - January 24, 2014 Becky Marie Cook of Waco passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence. Friends are welcome to join the family as they gather to celebrate her life on Sunday, January 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Cook residence. Becky was born November 16, 1967, in Midland, Texas to Vance and Peggy Cook. Becky loved her family, swimming, baseball, Barbies, and everyone who entered her life. Becky was blessed with purity of heart and shared her loveliness with the world around her. Matthew 5:8 assures us that she will see God, her lifelong friend. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Marie Garrigues and Ethel and Isaac Cook. She is survived by her parents, her sister, Debbie Colwick and husband Craig of McGregor, TX; nieces and nephews, Chip McCarter and his son, Jack McCarter, V; Patrick McCarter and Ben McCarter; Laura and Rob Mooneyham and their children Tessa, Allison and Lilly; and Michael and Michelle Colwick and their children, Hunter, Kaitlyn and Madelyn. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Becky's caregivers, past and present. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors, the Special Olympics or the local charity of your choice.
