Bence James Castilow January 15, 1924 - May 19, 2013 Bence James Castilow of Waco passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, at Oakwood Cemetery with Deacon Hank Norris officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bence was born January 15, 1924, in Oletha, Texas, to Walter and Unis Smith Castilow. He worked for the City of Waco. He was a member of Primrose Baptist Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Aline Truehitt Castilow, the mother of his daughter; and his second wife, Wanda Jean Castilow. He is survived by his daughter, Jewell Markwardt, and husband, Eddie, of Waco; grandchildren, Steven Markwardt and wife, Wendy, Carla Finley and husband, Willie, and Cristen Conner and husband, Charlie; great grandchildren, Nicholes, Taylor, Caitlin, Chip, Corbin and Collin; and sister, Birdie Young.
