Bennett L. Glaser

GLASER, BENNETT L. Bennett Glaser, age 69, of Waco, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, October 27, 2001, at a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Don Olson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, October 29th at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. Glaser was born on November 13,1931 to Theodore and Johanna Hanke Glaser in Rosebud. He moved to Mart at an early age and attended school there. He married Joyce Springer on June 26, 1955 in Mart. Mr. Glaser worked with the Texas Department of Transportation for 38 years retiring in 1993. He had been an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church for the past 43 years. Survivors include: his wife of 46 years, Joyce Glaser; his daughters, Sheryl Kuehl and husband, Jody of Robinson, Lisa Abel and husband, Mike of Hewitt; his 6 grandchildren: Aaron, Andrew, Laura, and Nathan Kuehl, Scott and Allison Abel; his brother, Clarence Glaser and wife, Gladys of Mart; and 2 nephews and 1 niece. Pallbearers will be David Glaser, Daniel Glaser, Franklin Glaser, Weldon Hand, Bennice Johnson, and Alan Wood. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
