Bernice Dorothy Casper

Bernice Dorothy Casper passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Brian Hesse officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 17 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

Bernice was born November 18, 1926, in Bellwood, Illinois, to August and Lenne Marie Fenske. She married Billy Frank Casper in 1952.Bernice was educated at Waco High and 4C Business College. She worked at Texas Coffin Company and Texas Art Glass. She loved her church and being a charter member of her church. Her biggest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Frank Casper; daughter, Christy White-Swift; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Mary and Leo Mohan, Theresa and Wayne Whitehead, and Betty Blain.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Casper and Tim Casper and wife, Angela; grandchildren, James, Lindsey, Joey, and Katelyn; brother-in-law, Paul Casper; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Mohan, Mickey Blain, David Guest, Glenn Dietrich, Joey White-Swift, and Paul Frank Casper.
