Bert Cargill January 18, 1941 - August 8, 2015 Bert Cargill of Waco passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Pastor Pat Cummings officiating. Bert was born January 18, 1941, in Waco, Texas, to Clarence and Modell Cargill. Bert was an entrepreneur and owned several businesses in Waco. Prior to going into business for himself he was a Waco firefighter. He was a faithful member of Patton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Cris Allen Cargill. He is survived by wife, Pat Cargill; children, Cindy Cargill Bruce and fiance W.W. Rowland, Casie Christine Cargill and fiance, Mike Shelley, Tammy Whatley Carlisle and husband, Mike, Lee Whatley Bankston and husband, Brent, Dannie Whatley and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Dustin Bruce and wife, Megan, Devin Bruce, Danielle Bruce, Ethan Feight, Spencer Carlisle, Reid Carlisle, Madison Theut, Holland Bankston, Rylan Whatley, Baxter Bankston, Tatum Holt, Addyson Holt, and Emery Whatley; two great-grandchildren, Cayden Bruce and Harper Harris. The family would like to thank the physicians and staff at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Memorials may be made to Patton Baptist Church, M. D.
