BESSIE KANTROVICH CHODOROW Bessie Kantrovich Chodorow, age 103 of Waco died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2 at Agudath Jacob Cemetery with Elliot Wolpo officiating. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Chodorow was born June 19, 1900 in Waco to Louis and Gertrude Adams Kantrovich. She married Max Chodorow on September 15, 1929 in Fort Worth. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1984. She and her husband owned and operated The Fashion Shop at 413 Austin Avenue for many years. Mrs. Chodorow was a member of Congregation Agudath Jacob where she was active in Chavurah. Survivors include her daughter, Greta Chodorow Kost and husband Dr. Harold S. Kost of Holliston, Massachusetts; son, Hilton Chodorow of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Dr. Linda S. Kost, Dr. Rhonda G. Kost, Sharon A. Kost, Jordan Chodorow and Piera Chodorow; great grandchildren, Emily, Asher and Benjamin Spector and Joshua Koszer; sister-in-law, Mrs. Jack Ann Chodorow of Waco; brother-in-law, Vic Stiles of Fort Worth; nieces, Ima Joy Gandler, Linda Kaye and Phyllis Ginsberg; nephews, Steve and Martin Chodorow, Robert and David Braslau and Roger Kaye; and cousins, Dr. Richard Kleiman and Leonard Gorin.
