OPAL BARTLETT, 89, of Waco, died Saturday at her home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 22, 2001 at Oakwood Cemetery, Rev. Dan White officiating. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 PM Monday in the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Bartlett was born August 1, 1911 in Frederick, OK. She attended Stephens College in Missouri and graduated from Baylor University in 1933 with a BA degree. She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge D. W. Bartlett March 29, 1963. Mrs. Bartlett was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, Kappa Delta Sorority, Belle Fleur Garden Club and Harston Study Club. Survivors include her three daughters: Beverly Johnston, Barbara Martin and Carol Winningham, all of Waco, nine grandchildren: Bart Jenkins, Janie Burnett, Julie Jenkins, Adrienne Cash, Alison Chapman, Mandy Schoeplein, Betsy Patterson, David Burton and Angela Schlaack and 13 great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Alton Hoosier, Bill Berry, Bart Jenkins, David Burton, Ron Patterson, Mike Schlaack, Steve Cash, Michael Burnett, Bret Chapman, Alex Schoeplein and Robbie Martin.
