Bettie Joe Murdock

Bettie Joe Murdock March 13, 1930 - August 27, 2014 Bettie Joe Murdock of Waco passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 29, at Holy Cross Cemetery with her son-in-law, Johnny Rhodes, officiating. Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m. and visitation is from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Bettie was born March 13, 1930, in Waco, Texas, to Joe and Bessie Bolfing. She held several positions at the HOT Fair and Rodeo and Event Center for approximately 25 years, where she made many longtime friends. Bettie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Murdock; and son, Ronnie Murdock. She is survived by her two daughters, Stephanie Boen and husband, Kenny, of Bosqueville, Texas, and Connie Rhodes and husband, Johnny, of Robinson, Texas; daughter-in-law, Linda Murdock of Aquilla, Texas; grandchildren, Korey Boen and wife, Jennifer, and Ashlea Boen, Kayla Hahn and husband, Jason, Kenda Bolton and Coby Rhodes, and Kim Rynders and husband, Dustin; and seven great-grandchildren.
