Goddard, Betty Allen October 22, 1931 Betty Ann Allen Goddard passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Jimmie Johnson officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 – 12:00 noon on Wednesday prior to the graveside service at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey on Bosque Boulevard. She was born October 22, 1931 in Waco, Texas to Winifred and Perry Allen, and was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymond B. Goddard, Jr., whom she married in 1951. Betty graduated from Baylor University and taught school in El Paso and Richardson School Districts. She was a member of the Lovers Lane Methodist Church, Dallas Junior League, and an active member of the Dallas Sustaining Transfer League. She is survived by her daughters, Susanne Boon, Betsy Smith and husband, Kerry; grandchildren, Taylor Boon, Tyler Boon, Stephen Boon, Rachael Smith, Garrett Smith; brother Perry Jack Allen and wife, Carolyn; and nephew, Perry Jack Allen, Jr. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choice or to St. Michael’s Hospice.
