Betty Ann Robinson

Betty Ann Robinson, 84, passed away Sunday morning, January 7, 2018, at her home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 11, at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S. 5th Street. Following the service, the family will hold a gathering at the home of Link and Denise Harris, 420 Riverview Drive, Woodway TX 76712. Betty Ann was born on October 11, 1933, to Bob and Feddie Lee Brown in Cameron, Texas. She grew up in Cameron and Waco and married Philip G. “Jerry” Harris in 1958. She was a school teacher with the Waco Independent School District and later followed her passion and talent into interior design. She and her second husband, Bill Robinson, owned "Furniture of the Art Shop" in Waco, selling unique collections of furniture, accessories and art. Both Jerry and Bill preceded her in death. Betty Ann loved reading, poetry, and often wrote down quotes and Bible verses that moved her heart and soul. She had beautiful handwriting and often wrote special notes to her family and friends. She had an eye for fashion and long standing interior decor and painted wonderful works of art as a hobby. Her love and interest in others will be greatly missed by many. Survivors include her sons, Blair Harris of Waco, and Link Harris and wife, Denise, of Waco; grandsons, Cameron and Stieler Harris of Waco; sister, Doris Jean Strickland and husband, Shelby, of Houston; two nieces, Sherry Hibbert and Susan Neibel and husband, Steve; along with first cousins, a grand niece and nephew in Houston, and great grandniece born this past August.
