Betty Arline Bryant April 19, 1936 - October 6, 2015 Betty Arline Bryant of Woodway passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Donnell officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Betty was born April 19, 1936 in Waco, Texas, to Ed and Mary Lawson, Jr., Betty graduated from Waco High in 1954. She was member of the Y.W.C.A Splash Club, and on December 19, 1959, married William McCaig Bryant. She was a loving housewife and mother. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Woodway. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Roy and Ida Bryant; a brother, Larry Donald Lawson; and brother-in-law, Jim Bryant, Sr. She is survived by her husband, William; one son, Russell Bryant and fiance, Tammie George, of Crawford; one daughter, Christy Dawson and husband, Wes, of McGregor; six grandchildren, Roxanne Jones, Rachael Bryant, Eric Nye and wife Devon, Alissa Cady and husband, Chris, Courtney Wood and husband, Jack, and J.W. Dawson; five great-grandchildren, Christian, Knox and Kennedy Cady, and Jace and Josslyn Nye; and sister, Tana Sharp and children, Joel and Larissa.
