Betty Ickles October 23, 1931 - February 21, 2015 Betty Ickles of Waco, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. Private family services will be 10:00 a.m,. Wednesday, February 25, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Craig Godby officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Betty was born October 23, 1931, in Corsicana, Texas, to Jessie and Beulah Bibb. At age 21 she became a Christian, was a devoted member, and receptionist at First Baptist Church of Waco, where she later retired. She was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband Henry Lee Ickles; sisters, Jewell Fields and Jealene Williams; brothers, Johnny Leroy Tackett and Cleo Bibbs, She is survived by her sons, Don Ickles and wife, Suzi, of Lorena, Texas and Ron Ickles of Waco; grandchildren, Joe Dressler and LuAnn Ickles-Flores; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Alma Bridges and Bessie Krammes; brothers, Jessie Bibb, Jr, Colin Bibb, and Mickey Bibb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
