Betty Jean Simpson

Betty Jean Simpson December 22, 1931 - June 26, 2006 Betty Jean Simpson of Waco, formerly of Brownwood, TX, passed away Monday, June 26, 2006 at Westview Manor. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel. Betty Jean was born December 22, 1931 in Mart, TX to Eugene and Jane Eskew. Betty graduated from Waco Tech High. She and Bobby Simpson were married over 55 years and to this union were born four sons. She devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and to her extended family. Betty has been a lifelong Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sons: Robert and Michael Simpson, one sister and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Simpson, her sons: Bruce Simpson and wife Sherrill; and Stuart W. Simpson; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
