Betty Muirhead Prince

Betty Prince January 29, 1938 - July 6, 2013 Betty Muirhead Prince went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 6, 2013 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Ron Durham officiating, followed by graveside services at 5:00 PM at Owen Cemetery in Bonham, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Betty was born January 29, 1938, in Vernon, Texas. She married Bob Prince January 30, 1960, and they were married 53 years. Together they raised their four sons, Jarrell, Bobby, Randy and Brad Prince. Betty was a graduate of Baylor University. She worked in several school districts throughout Texas and retired as a Special Needs Instructor for the Connally School District. Waco was Betty and Bob's home for several years where they had many friends and were active members of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church. Betty's faith and family were the center of her life. Her servant's heart was evident in all that she did. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she gave selflessly to everyone. Betty's kindred spirit and contagious laugh touched the lives of all who knew her. Betty is survived by her husband, Bob, and their four sons and families, Jarrell Prince and his wife, Connie of Frisco, TX, Bobby Prince, MD and his wife, Brandy of Albany, GA, Randy Prince and his wife, Karen of Lubbock, TX, and Brad Prince and his wife, Julie of McKinney, TX. and eight grandchildren, Reid Prince and his wife, Emma, Ashley Prince, Benjamin Prince, Nataly Prince, Travis Sterling and his wife, Lindsay, Morgan Prince, Hunter Prince and Adrian Prince. She is also survived by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Jack Bolton, DDS of Dallas.
