Bill George Paske September 9, 1921 - May 22, 2007 Bill George Paske of Robinson passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Marlin. Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m. and visitation to follow on Thursday, May 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Bill was born September 9, 1921 in Reagan, TX. He graduated from Reagan High School and served in the Navy during World War II. He married his beloved wife, Josephine in 1948. One of Bill’s first jobs was with Pioneer Airlines and later retired from Southwestern Transportation Cotton Belt Railroad after more than 35 years of service. Mr. Paske was a devoted husband, father and grandfather; he loved nature, his gardening and his farm. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Mary Paske of Marlin; brothers, Marion and Pete; and his daughter, Linda Kay Ickert. He is survived by his wife, Josephine of 60 years; daughter, Mary Jo Liesmann and husband, Larry of Blanco; son, Bobby Dean Paske and wife, Teresa of Riesel; sister, Louise Vahrenkamp of Ft. Worth; sister-in-laws, Stella Paske and Magdalen Long Werline and husband, Billy. Also surviving are grandchildren, Brandon Witzel and wife, Nicole; Adrienne Witzel; Angie Pasetes and husband, Roel; David Ickert; and Kathleen Liesmann; and great-grandchild, Lily Witzel.
