Bill Searcy died on Dec. 8, 2005. Services will be Monday, Dec. 12, at 1:30 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park North Cemetery. Visitation will be on Dec. 11, from 3 to 5 pm at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Funeral Home. Bill graduated from McGregor High School in 1979. Since high school playing bass guitar, he played with several bands over the years. His love was to watch his sons play baseball, football and soccer. He is survived by his wife, Geneva and two sons, Camron and Carson Searcy; mother, Patsy Jane Cook Seay and step-father, Ray Seay and step-mother, Jean Searcy; brother, Keith Searcy of Princeton, TX and two sisters, Susan McGrath of Golinda and Donna Bates of McGregor; half brothers, Chip Seay of Pella, Iowa and David Seay of Des Moines, Iowa and a step-sister, Janet Neal, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Graham Searcy and two nephews.
