Billie Jo McGee Graham March 19, 1924 - September 28, 2009 Billie Jo McGee Graham of Waco passed away Monday, September 28, 2009, peacefully at her home after a short illness. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Dr. Phyllis Tippit officiating. Burial will be in Lake Jackson, TX. She will be in state beginning Friday morning and visitation will be 5-7 p.m., October 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Mrs. Billie Jo McGee Graham was born in Ranger, Texas, to the late Jessie Mae McGee and Hubert D. McGee. She grew up in East Texas and graduated as Valedictorian of her high school class in East Mountain. She attended college in Commerce, Texas. She married the late Benton Lee Graham in 1943. They had many happy years together raising their family in Lake Jackson, Texas. Billie moved to Waco to be with her daughter and family in 1996. Billie was a member of the First Presbyterian church and has attended services at the Chapel at the Village at Providence Park for the last few years. She was an active member of PEO since the late 1950's, currently belonging to Chapter BF. She was active in her church throughout her lifetime and loved to play bridge. She was preceded in death by her only son, Clifford Wayne Graham; and husband, Benton Graham; a brother, Mack E. McGee; and both parents. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Graham of Waco; two grandsons, Taylor Brown of Frisco, TX, and Michael Brown of Sand Springs, OK; a sister, Patsy McGee Howard and husband, Stanley Jr, of Waco: a niece, Linda Howard Bland and husband, Jim, of Waco; and a nephew, Stanley Howard III of Singapore.
