Billie Jones December 10, 1939 - May 18, 2011 Billie Jones, 71, of Waco passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at a local hospital. Services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Billie was born December 10, 1939, in Waco to George J. Mascot and Ella M. Gaecke. She attended schools in Marlin and Waco. She married Benny Joe Jones August 21, 1956. Billie retired from Texas Farm Bureau after 18 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Meadowbrook PTA and a member of Beverly Hills Baptist church. Billie enjoyed gardening and working in her flowerbeds, and watching and feeding the birds in her backyard. She was also a wonderful cook. However, her greatest joy was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Leslie Gaecke. Billie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Benny; sons, Mike Jones and wife, Cheryl, Corby Jones and wife, Yvette; Brad Jones and wife, Christine; and daughter, Toni Riggs and husband, Tommy; sister, Gladys Hlavenka; grandchildren, Amanda Burke and husband, Bo, Trevor, Braxton, Kendyl, Caleb and Cayden, Thomas and Chris. Pallbearers are Troy Kinder, Bill Hlavenka, Jr., Steve Jones, Mike Jones, Corby Jones, Brad Jones, Joey Hlavenka and Eric. A special thanks to Mary Brown, her home care nurse, Texas Oncology, Waco Cardiology and Providence Medical Center for their care for Billie, for the past 5 years.
