Billy Wray Lightfoot

Billy Wray Lightfoot of Waco passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. Services will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, at Rosemound Cemetery with the Pastor John Rambeau officiating. Visitation will be 3:30-5:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Billy was born October 14, 1934, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to Charley Henry Lightfoot and Irene Lightfoot. He was married for 38 years to Mary Ann Thompson. Billy worked at Owens Illinois for 38 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved his family and cooking for them. Billy has been a lifelong Christian. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brother, Charles “Chuck” Lightfoot; and his sister, Mary Jo Foy. He is survived by his brothers, Glen and Jerry Lightfoot; daughter, Billie Ann Allen and husband, Jack; son, Vincent Wray D. Lightfoot and fiancé, Lidea Carlson; grandchildren, Bradley Allen, Kelli Nicole Poteet, Justin Wray Lightfoot, Charlene Lightfoot, and Dalton Lightfoot; and great grandchildren, Kagen Bradley Allen, Karsen Wray Poteet, and Jace Lawson Poteet.
