Billye Mae Dillon April 8, 1926 - November 14, 2006 Billye Mae Dillon of Waco passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Ridgecrest Retirement and Health Care. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 17, at Oakwood Cemetery with Dr. Harry C. Powell III officiating. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, November 16, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Billye was born April 8, 1926 in Dallas, TX to William Bell and Mae Roberts. She graduated from Irving High School in 1943 and married her high school sweetheart on February 19, 1946 and had a loving and successful marriage for over 42 years. While working for Shell Oil they lived in West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. She lived her life with dignity and integrity and was always a role model to all and was dedicated to her children and grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray Dillon and her sister, Jo Ann Rogers. She is survived by her daughter, Diann Dillon of Waco her son, Duane Dillon and wife, Babs of Baytown; and one granddaughter, Chelsea Dillon of College Station. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Burns and Carolyn Biles both of Waco; numerous nieces and nephews and best friend of almost 50 years, Veona Pirtle and family of Odessa. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Association of Central Texas, American Cancer Society, Waco Animal Shelter or Fuzzy Friends.
