Bob Mckamie

MCKAMIE, BOB Bob McKamie, age 84, of Waco died Sunday, November 10, 2002 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, November 13 at Waco Memorial North with Chaplain Richard Rust officiating. Arrangements are through Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mr. McKamie was born September 17, 1918 in Moody to the late William Henry and Nancy Ida Permenter McKamie. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII, where he received a purple heart. He married Wanda Alton July 20, 1952. Bob worked a lifetime in the electrical supply business. He was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include wife, Wanda McKamie of Waco; daughter, Karen Yowell and Jimmy of Waco; sons, Mark McKamie and Susan of Waco and Bryant McKamie and Tami of Mexia; grandchildren, Lauren Yowell, Blake Yowell, Hunter Yowell, James Fewell, Jami Fewell and Colton McKamie; sisters, Wilma Martin and Lonnie of Troy and Eloise Holder of Waco; brother, Ed McKamie and Lura of Waco and several nieces and nephews.
