Bobby Glenn B. G. Moore

MOORE, BOBBY Bobby Glenn “B. G.” Moore 76, of China Spring, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at a local hospital. Services will be at 11:30am Friday, June 25 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, June 24 at the funeral home. Mr. Moore was born February 1, 1928 in Abilene to Ransom W. and Lillie Moore. He married Anna Louise Payne March 3, 1951 in Dallas. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years. He retired from the postal service in 1984, after 18 years as a letter carrier. After retirement, he enjoyed golfing at Lake Waco Golf Course, playing cards and watching his grandkids grow up. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy West. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Anna L. Moore of China Spring; daughter, Cheryl Adams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Oscar Glenn Moore and wife, Mary Ann of China Spring; mother-in-law, Annie Pearl Payne of China Spring; grandchildren, Brandi Pocsik, Jordan Moore, Crystal Moore, Shelbe Adams and Weston Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dyess AFB Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are J.T. Summerlin, Bill White, Tommy Miller, Ronnie Davis, Trey Bradshaw and Carl Ellis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association or favorite charity.
