Bonita Daniel Sharp March 6, 1924 January 7, 2014 Bonita Daniel Sharp passed away on January 7, 2014, at a local nursing home. Visitation will be 5:00 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, at Wilkirson Hatch Bailey. Bonita was born March 6, 1924, at Central Texas Hospital in Brownwood, Texas, to Arthur and Ina Daniel. She lived in Mullen, Texas, until her family moved to Waco in 1938, where she graduated from Waco High School in 1942. She worked at First National Bank as a teller for 36 years. Bonita never met a stranger. She made many lifelong friends, not only with her coworkers, but with her bank customers, as well. She loved her NFL football, but her one true love was watching NASCAR. Our thoughts are with her today, our hearts are with her always. Bonita was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Iva Lee Fletcher of Wolfforth, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly King and husband, James, of Waco; granddaughter, Karen King Van Meter and husband, Brandon, of Austin; a sister, Theda Fae Rinewalt of Waco; and a niece and several nephews. We would like to express our thanks to all mother's angels at Regent Care and Providence Hospice. We would also like to thank Dr. Maydee Rosario and her staff at Waco Lung for all their many years of loving care. Memorials may be made to the Community Cancer Association, 3000 Herring Ave., Waco, Texas, the American Lung Association in Texas, National Processing Center, P. O. Box 7000, Albert Lea, MN 56007-8000, or to the charity of your choosing. "Life is not measured by the breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away." The family invites you to leave a message or memory in our "Memorial Guestbook" at www.WilkirsonHatchBailey.com.
