Bonnell passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 surrounded by her family. Services will be held Monday, February 22, 2021, at 10 AM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 21. She will be laid to rest at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, Kentucky at a later date. Bonnell was born on February 26, 1934 in Crittenden County, Kentucky, to the late Robert Marvin York and Lorene James York. She was married for 52 years to Charles A Love, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church since 1992 and was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was a long-time member of the Crittenden County (KY) Genealogical Society; past Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Board member of Waco Gem and Mineral Club; and a lifetime member of Navy-Marine Corps Military Amateur Radio System. Her long working career began in January 1949 and ended in September 2018. During those 69 years, she enjoyed a variety of positions in Marion, Detroit, San Antonio, and Waco, including 19 years with the Trust Department of Frost National Bank in San Antonio, and in Waco, 16 years as office manager for Lake Air Apartments, and 10 years with Mid-Texas Claims Service. Some of her happiest days were while serving as Church/Pastor Secretary at Western Heights Baptist Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert William York, and sister, Opal Lucille York Eskew. She is survived by daughter, Kristine Aiello Casey, and husband, Wayne; grandsons, Jacob Aiello, and wife, Jennifer; Douglass and Beau Casey, and wife, Kayla; great-grandchildren, Jordyn and Jacob Aiello, Jr, Ethan, Zander and Zane Casey. A special thank you to Jennifer Noble of Bluebonnet Hospice and friends who helped to take care of her over the past few weeks.
