Dr. Brandi Ann Schluterman Greer December 9, 1981 December 31, 2012 Brandi Greer, 31, of Hewitt, was called home by Jesus, Monday, December 31, 2012, at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco, at the end of an inspiring trial from brain cancer. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, next door at Grace Church, 6125 Bosque, Waco, with Pastor Jay Mathis officiating. Funeral service and burial will be conducted in Arkansas at a later date. Brandi was born December 9, 1981, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and grew up enjoying family activities. She excelled in both athletics and academics, earning both cheerleading captain at Northside High School and multiple full scholarships to the University of Arkansas. After receiving her B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics and Statistics, she was recruited by Baylor to complete her Ph.D. in Statistics. After completing her post doctorate work, she was blessed with the joyous opportunity to be both a lecturer at Baylor University and stay-at-home-mom. Brandi loved Jesus, her husband and kids, family and friends, the Razorbacks and football. She enjoyed Tigger, Mario Kart, ping-pong and not wasting date night movies on chick flicks. She was an amazing girl who carried herself with a quiet confidence in the Lord through her life and trial. She brought a spirit of peace everywhere she went and had a neat way of loving people that made everyone around her feel special. Brandi was preceded in death by her brother, Chase Schluterman; grandmother, Charlyne Wurst; and grandfather, Leonard Schluterman. She is survived by her husband, Stanton Greer; children, Chastely and Jacob of Hewitt; parents, Rhonda Sue and Louis Schliemann of Charleston, Ark.; brother, Josh and Heather Schliemann; "niblings", Matthew and Madison Schluterman of Bentonville, Ark.; brother, Heath and Kimberly Schluterman of Fayettville, Ark.; sister, Rachel Schluterman of Fayettville; grandparents, Fred and Beth Wurst and Veronica Schluterman, all of Paris, Ark.; in' laws, Debbie and David Greer of Van Buren, Ark.; a treasured extended family; and many dear friends.
