Brent Alan Ochoa of McGregor, loving husband, father, son, brother uncle and friend passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Pastor Albert Fuentes officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Brent was born March 16, 1962 in Waco, TX to Cecil Ochoa and Shirley Powell. He graduated from Jefferson-Moore High School in 1980. Brent was employed for 27 years at Tersco Inc/United Refrigeration. He loved riding his Harley with his friends, hunting and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Consuela Ochoa; grandfathers, John E. Landrum and Robert L. Waldrop. He is survived by wife, Susie and daughter, Rachel of McGregor; mother, Shirley Powell and husband, Richard of Hewitt; father, Cecil Ochoa and wife, Kim; sisters, Cheryl Ochoa and Dianna Ochoa-Mosley and husband, Arthur, all of McGregor; brother, Bryan Miller and wife, Lina of Austin; maternal grandparents, Geneva and Earl Lynch of Waco; grandmothers, Sue Waldrop of Crawford and Gladys Webb of Marco Island, Florida; nieces and nephews, Christopher, Jessica, Kasey, Cecil, Stanton, Lauren, Brody and Ethan; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers are Bryan Miller, Johnny Ochoa Jr., Ernest Ochoa Jr., Eric Ochoa, Teddy Gonzales Jr., Lance Nelson, Kyle Heard, Harold Ellis, Gary Englebrecht, Mike Dennis, Alan Shepherd, Toby Fuessel, Johnnie Psencik, Lee Lackey, Richard Giniewicz, Garry Ray, Larry Beck, Dennis Messer, Ronnie Rose, Michael Green, Roy Guerra, Holly Thornal and Pat Kane. A college fund has been established for daughter, Rachel Ochoa at Community Bank and Trust of Waco. The family expresses their sincere thanks to Bible Way Church and Harvest Time Revival Center for their hosting the family with a luncheon.
