Bruce M. Fry November 12, 1914 - September 16, 2009 Bruce M. Fry of Lorena passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his family. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, at Lorena United Methodist Church with Pastors Danny Niedecken, Christie Robbins and Chaplain Brian Pendleton officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 18, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room, Waco, Texas. Final interment for Senoia Cemetery, Senoia, Georgia, will be announced at a later date. Bruce was born November 12, 1914 in Clarkesville, GA, to David A. and Laura Meadows Fry. He was in insurance sales and worked at and retired from Hollberg’s Fine Furniture in Senoia, Ga. Bruce was a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a good man, loved by all, and will be greatly missed. Bruce was a member of Lorena United Methodist Church since 2001; prior he was a longtime member at Senoia United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 56 years, Elsie B. Fry; three brothers, Robert, Walter B. and Malcolm Fry; and one sister, Edith Gay. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Hazel Hubbard Fry, of Lorena; sister, Ouida Bitker and husband, Al; and step-daughter, Judy Mullis and husband, Doug; step-son, Chip Hubbard and wife, Bobbi; grandchildren, Chris Mullis, Jen Bass and husband, Keith and Emilee Hubbard; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lorena United Methodist Church or Senoia United Methodist Church, Senoia, GA.
