Buddy B.J. Gresham

OBITUARY FOR: BUDDY B. J. GRESHAM Buddy B. J. Gresham, age 79, of Woodway, died Friday, October 19, 2001, in a local hospital. Services will be 11:30 AM, Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., with Minister Charles North and Rev. Mike Gresham officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Gresham was born July 28, 1922, in Waco where he lived all of his life. He graduated from Waco High School in 1942 and attended 4-C Business College. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy during WWII where he was awarded eight battle stars. He married Helen Bezdek October 21, 1951. She preceded him in death January 9, 1994. Mr. Gresham worked for General Tire and Rubber Co. for over 35 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: Daughter: Sandra Allen and husband Gabe of Abilene Son: Sam Gresham of Austin grandchildren: Scott, Brittany and Bryan Allen all of Abilene Brother: Abeel Abe Gresham and wife Beverly of Waco And several nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be Kim Gresham, Mike Gresham, Pat Gresham, Don Urbanovsky, Gary Urbanovsky, and Edward Kubala.
