Calvin Pool Buice July 17, 1926 June 10, 2012 Calvin Pool Buice, a lifelong resident of McLennan County, passed away peacefully at his boyhood home in Speegleville, Texas, June, 10 2012, at the age of 85. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey followed by a graveside service at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:30 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 12 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey in Waco. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Ewing Buice and Joe Henry Holstead Buice, and siblings, Mildred Johnson and Joe Carl Buice. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanine Molitor Buice; daughter, Sabrina B. Thomas and husband, David;, son, Lou Buice and wife, Regina; grandsons J.T. Buice and wife, Elizabeth, and Ty, and siblings Nell Buice Barton, Lawrence Ewing Buice, and Laura Jean Buice Stafford. Calvin loved to collect and restore antique tractors and was a lifetime member of the Texas Early Day Tractor and Engine Association. He was a sixty year member of the Texas Masonic Lodge and served on the Karem Shrine Director Staff. He was also a member of the Royal Order of the Jesters, Court 115. He was a past master of Crawford Lodge #585 and a past District Deputy Grand Master, Masonic District 61A. Calvin and Jeanine owned and operated the Speegleville Store from 1965 to 1992. In retirement, Calvin and Jeanine enjoyed R.V. travel to the Pacific Northwest and spending time cooking and storytelling. Pallbearers are Rodney Hall, Randee Johnson, James Richards, J.T. Buice, J.R. Balcerowicz, and Keith Ferguson. Honorary Pallbearers are Ty Buice and the members of Crawford Masonic Lodge, #585.
