Carlos Leal Saucedo July 22, 1945 - November 20, 2013 Carlos Leal Saucedo of Harlingen, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, at First Mexican Baptist Church with the Rev. Armando Virgen officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be begin at 6:00 p.m., and the Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Carlos was born July 22, 1945 in Waco, Texas to Cipriano Saucedo and Julia Guardiola. He was in the US Army for eight years as a Medic and served in Vietnam. He was an anesthetist for 34 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda Melendez. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Helen Quintanilla Saucedo of Harlingen, TX; daughters, Renee' Quintanilla and husband, Hector, of Arlington, TX, Stefanie Serna and husband, Peter, of Harlingen; son, Carlos Saucedo, Jr. of Harlingen, TX; six granddaughters; sisters, Carmen Rivas, Esther Rodriguez, and Marie Jorgenson and husband, Wayne; brother, Jesse Skip Saucedo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Carlos Saucedo, Jr., Hector Quintanilla, Peter Serna, Robert Gamboa, Arthur Retiz, Flavio Quintanilla, Brian Gamboa, Frank Aebi and Philip Rodriguez.
