Carmen Lopez Dominguez May 10, 1927 - June 18, 2006 Carmen Lopez Dominguez of Waco, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 18, 2006 and will be greatly missed because she was such a loving person to all her family and friends. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Soler as celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Bosque Chapel. Carmen was born May 10, 1927 in Malakoff, TX to Ramon and Consuelo Lopez. She and her husband, Daniel was married on November 27, 1948 and they owned and operated Carver Park Grocery Neighborhood Store, for 40 years. She has been an active member of both St. Frances and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches. Carmen was instrumental in fund raising and establishing the St. Frances Kindergarten School. She was an active member and treasurer of the NCCW National Council of Catholic Women, former president of the PTA of the St. Francis School and a member of the Guadalupanas of St. Francis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Carmen Denise Dominguez and her husband, Daniel R Dominguez. She is survived by daughters, Deborah Green and husband Scott of Hewitt, Yvette Guardiola and husband Samuel of Hewitt, Yvonne D. and husband Judge Fernando Villarreal of Waco, niece Delores Duron and nephew Raymond Lopez, III whom they lovingly raised as their own; her grandchildren whom she treasured most in life: Alexandra Lopez, Bailey and Nicholas Green and Nicole Anderson; Sammy and Daniel Guardiola; Analisa Villarreal and great grandchild, Brooks Lee Anderson. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Ramon Lopez, Jr., and wife, Angelita, Jose P. Lopez, Vincent Lopez, Sr., and wife, Sophie, Isadore Lopez, Sr., and wife, Josefina, Janie Moreno, Connie Carrizales and husband, Louis, Robert Lopez, Sr., and wife, Lupe and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Vincent Lopez, Jr., Isadore Lopez, Jr., Robert Lopez, Jr., Adrian Carrizales, Arthur Duron, Clint Redding, Robert Lopez and Alan Carrizales. Honorary Pallbearers will be her brothers, brother-in-law and nephew. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
