CAROL ANN OLIVER December 12, 1952 February 2, 2013 Carol Ann Oliver, 60, of Lorena, Texas passed away from a long lung illness at ICU Hillcrest Hospital. A visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque, Waco, Texas 76710. Carol was the oldest child to Robert and Jenny Fowler of Oxnard, California. She married Lary Oliver in 1984 and made a family with him and her son, Jonathan. She attended Hueneme High School where she first met her husband. They went their separate ways and met and married 16 years later, to start their journeys living and working together at many locations before coming to Lorena in 1994. She was a buyer for Raytheon Systems now known as L-3 Communications before retiring. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Lary; son, Jonathan Oliver and wife, Gillie; two granddaughters, Alexandra and Samantha Oliver, all of Lorena; and her sisters and brothers, Debra Neri, Jim Fowler, Joanne Steele, and Bobby Fowler. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Debbie and Kathy at the Intensive Care Unit of Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, Texas for their understanding and exceptional care given Carol. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Cancer Research of your choice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are suggested.
